Usually they come normal post in a brown envelope Coddie.

Have you got a credit card or something similar that's about to expire ?? My last replacement debit card came Special Delivery and like you, I spent the night before going to the post office a worried man !!!!!

Or it could be a Premium Bond win notification !!!!!! :} :}

With the incompetents in our local sorting office, even the Special Delivery items have gone missing !!!! I think our local plod send NIP's normal post as there just as likely to arrive as sending them by any other method !!!!

As an example.....I ordered some sew-on patches a while back and had a card shoved through the door to go and collect them from the sorting office. Went round there, signed the form, and was given an empty envelope that had been obviously ripped open, the contents removed, and the ripped flap stuck back down !!!!! That was Special (next day) Delivery !!!!! ?3-75 in postage for a torn envelope !!!!! :mad: :mad:

Funny you should say that about torn envelopes, when Paddy sent me the screen bolt from Holland, the envelope arrived torn and stuck back together, luckily the bolt was still inside, but i wonder if little fingers had a pry??? Makes you wonder just how safe things are now a days :dunno:
