What about Yorkshire?
I am told we will get a Spitfire early this afternoon but can't find details anywhere
They did not want to flay over Yorkshite for fear it would frighten the horses and cyclists
Just had a look online, there will be a spitfire flypast to mark areas worthy of recognition, apparently the Royal Ordnance factory at Barnbow in Leeds is not worthy of recognition despite the fact the roof had grass planted on it & cows were put on it to fool the Germans & protect the tanks that were being made.

I have arranged for your street to get a formation ride through by cyclists dressed in Lycra holding up the traffic.
Not sure whether this counts as a fly past or not. Aircraft came from Liverpool and has been doing racetrack circuits over us for nearly an hour now.

Ravenair do ariel surveys and are based at Liverpool.
They've been doing this all over the country for same weeks now.
With the reduced air traffic it's easier for them to get a load done.
They're mapping out houses with swimming pools (loadsa money), large greenhouses (loadsa weed) and flash motors (loadsa hub caps) !!!!

They're looking in the wrong places then. Try Chichester...you can't live there unless you're at least middle class.
ROF Barnbow is no longer there but was significant for tank building during the war & even through the 70’s, I can remember passing it as a kid & looking at the tanks being built.
Don’t know how many fell off.PMSL...Cows on a roof would feckin bamboozle anyone.
