Advanced Training

"Its quite something when you can enjoy an advanced riding day that's more like a swimming lesson. Bob Pinder, the man behind Hampshire based www.gobybike.com has an infectious enthusiasm for riding bikes that even appalling weather can't dampen. Unusually for a Roadcraft guru, Blackbird riding Bob's never been a police officer. He's a RoSPA qualified instructor with more than 20 years' experience in motorcycle training.
My day with Bob was aimed at getting me ready to take the IAM test (before my recent brush with the magistrates put the mockers on it), so it wasn't so much about learning new skills as sharpening existing ones. Bob's bike-to-bike commentary was excellent and corrective advice ensured that, by the end of the day, my riding was better than it had been at the start.
Definitely worthwhile." Simon Weir

"Top tip - Bob got me to raise my head slightly, so instead of merely looking well ahead on open roads, I was looking to the absolute limit of view, getting information earlier. A small change, but significant."

Sooooooo commercial this site!

I've just finnished reading The Institute of Chartered Accountants, Accounting Standard 2003/2004; it was riveting and in section FRS5, F49, 4.2.2 it mentions the Pinder man and www.gobybike.com

I have just read a very interesting book on the rise and fall of Cod fishing in the Atlantic. some of you can laugh but it was a riviting read, and makes me ashamed to be part of a fishing nation that has raped the seas bare and are trying to blame it on all and sundry, rather than do something to halt the problem now.$%3un $%3un
