Read post 2 and then report to your nearest specsavers.

OK point taken, but prefer the RAM mount as it fits closer to the Yoke. Just need to know if the RAM mount as mentioned by Portugeezer42 does actually fit s he says it does???

Honestly - it really does not need to be that complicated. All you need is a ball with a length of threaded rod out the back, pop off the plastic cap in the middle of the big nut on the yolk, attach ball with a couple of self retaining nuts and washers and job done. RAM supply this part. Then you need an arm ( I used a four inch one to get the satnav away from the dials) and, ideally a cage to mount your sat nav if needed. Again RAM supply these.

At the risk of repeating myself, have a search on here and you will find my thread where I rather helpfully listed all the RAM part numbers.

The Telferizer and other custom mounts are very nice, but essentially do the same job for many times the price and are, to my mind, over engineered when a much simpler solution is easily available.

Few minutes spare..... This is what you need

http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/1-ball-with-3816-threaded-post-with-spanner-flats-p-1269.html

Plus An arm in the length that suits.... Plus a cradle for your device and probably a diamond plate to fit between the cradle and the arm (depends on your device - may not need a cradle.)

When I sorted many many years ago I just gave the people on the above website a call - they were really helpful and got it right first time@tu*

Forget the comedy prices, just go direct to RAMuk.
