Today was the first time for me to ride around the circuit. I've been a couple of times to watch hill climbs but I had never been to the "top" of the track. Had poached eggs on toast and lemon meringue pie in the cafe at the top. Lovely views over the sea.
The track is so narrow with trees virtually on the tarmac. Hairpin after hairpin. No run off. Frightening.
Those racing guys are a breed apart.:bow:

My brother used to race classic MV's around there in 350 class and also won 125 classic title with the culminating round at Olivers Mount.
His last machine to go round was this rare Yamahahaha TD1C .
There's some trophies gathered and a photo of him (circled) on his MV 350.
