I can't wait. All the dickheads that have been going to the beach and the countryside can now return to their normal habitat. There's nothing better than a cold beer after a busy shopping session at Primark and Sports Direct.

The problem isn't the rule it's the behaviour.So after 4 months in lockdown the government has determined that it's OK for pubs to open from 06:00 tomorrow. Feckin' genius.
What could possibly go wrong..?
You know and I know there will be some who flaunt the rules the same as every other rule there has been in lockdown. From some conversations I had last night - with people who are normally far from stupid - it seems to me that many think the pandemic is over now and they can do what they want. Which is totally contrary to what we are being told by those that have a far better understanding than the man in the street. The message couldn't be clearer on this.
The other issue is that brave decisions have to be taken at some point. Safest thing is to keep a full lockdown on, let's await the inevitable media 20:20'hindsight shitstorm when there are outbreaks that need controlling. Having spent the last three months banging on about the measures being too tight and in need of relaxation they have already turned the questions into 'don't you think it's a bit early to lift them'.
Our local Wetherspoons would normally be filling up about now (09:00 ish), so I suspect the social distancing about now is probably comparable to a rugby scrum.
A&E must be overjoyed with the prospect of their "regulars" making a comeback.

I might have had a little drink yesterday after my mates funeral, that's the first in many years & it sure does keep reminding me why I gave up
Anyway back to the thread I had to drag my sorry arse into town today which involves passing 2 pubs, both were absolutely crammed with dickheads & there was no social distancing in evidence in either …………
