Protecting Bodywork

As you are probalby well aware, I got my little Blacky painted 3 years ago (don't worry no more photos!) and after spending so much dosh on it I found a company in the States that sold thin clear plastic sheets, profiled to fit on the side of the Tank, to stop my knees from marking the paint. Well that stuff has been on since then (its peels off and on real easy) and has been a godsend to keeping the paint underneath pristine.
I am about to get delivery of my Tiger that has also been treated to a nice paint job but I'm buggered if I can find the details of the clear plastic sheets cos I want some to go on the Tiger tank now.
Does anyone remember these guys or know of anything similar. I have seen a company advertising a similar thing but its a permenent application that costs a lot of dosh.
So if anyone has a long memory (I think they originally advertised on IXXRA before BIRD came into existance) then I'd be grateful if you could jog my old grey cells !

Venture Shield is a virtually invisible, indestructible clear coat plastic film for the ultimate paintwork protection.

Once Venture Shield is applied it forms a tough, totally transparent film, stopping wear and stone chips.

Do not confuse this film with the heavy 'sticker type' patches that are sold in accessory shops, once this is fitted it is near impossible to detect.
A full bike kit will do every area of the bike that would be subject to stone chips or wear, even the headlight lens.

I have a small bit of laquer peeling above the headlight would this cover it the paint underneath is unblemished.

Gerry, I've had this stuff on (or an equivalent) for about 4 years and its done a fantastic job of keeping the paint in first class condition, it hasn't gone yellow and its totally protected the finish. Not sure how it would go on top of damaged laquer but if you want a look at mine let me know, I think I've also got a small piece left in the house which was left over from when I put it on which you can try. I work in Dyce so let me know if you're nearby.
