anyone changed the plug leads on a Bird?

Has any explanation ever been offered convincingly why number 4 plug fails every now and then?

Best guess, Mac.

As none of the leads are exposed to the elements and each lead carries the same load the only likely cause is that number four's routing causes it to get hotter. :dunno:

the question is why usually number 4 , Noobs. :-0)

always number 4. The vacuum take of pipe is on that one on mine but no leak so only mentioned for accuracy.

I'm going to cover mine with heatshrink just in case one is breaking down but I'm sure it's not. I have spare coils so will see how they fit into the cap
