i have spent many many hours in my time polishing cars for a living and i've spent hours and hours polishing the bike,,,i've spent hundreds of pounds trying different polishes only to find that there really isn't that much to choose between them.
german polish MER is very good and AUTO GLYM Super resin polish is fine but today i've done the BB with PLEDGE furniture polish as recomended by one of my brothers and its FU**ING FANTASTIC on the BB's deep red paintwork...
I cannot fault the finish of this product...i've done my plastics, rubber boots on the mirrors, clocks, lights, rims and the bike is GLEAMING. 10/10 for the worlds oldest most effective polish..... g0551p

rhino mate, must agree with you there mate, been using it on my bird(and f.j.12 before her)and it does a stirling job, especially the black plastic fairing infills switches, clock surrounds, but be carefull on the seat 'cos it makes it a tad slippery  and less than 2 quid a can.

I don't mind

if it does'nt last too long as its got about 20 coats of MER & AUTOGLYM on it to protect it and i'll use the spray polish to make her shiiiiiine..

Mr Sheen really does shine umpteen things clean.

...do great jobs and come up with a deeper shine than any stndard wax or polish, but the only trouble is that they don't last. First downpour and it's all washed off.

Wonder if Mr Sheene with a layer of Turtle Wax over it would work??????
Just do it more often it's cheap as chips and is so easy to use

Use the stuff with beeswax in, that lasts longer, gives a deeper shine IMHO.

If you have to use 'normal' polish then I reckon Auto Glym for finish and ease of use.

Yes Stan, Have been polishing my pair of SX's before putting them away for the summer, on to the light Bass Rods now :yo:
