Can we delete all threads by L***y and F** B*** and some others on the grounds they occasionally make me laugh and might ruin my reputation for being a miserable sod?

I find the above post offensive as it descriminates against sanitary towels, they were not used in the story and could have clearly made the joke equally well
I think everyone knows how I feel about deleting threads.. so no, it wont be deleted.. but on thhe other hand it has been moved to the jokes and iffy pics section..
I am sure you will all agree that is actually the correct place for it..
If someone wants to be racist it is up to that person,,,
It is also up to an individual who is offended to take it up with the poster.
My view is this.
I am NOT a racist ( and I really aint ! I have worked, lived loved and eaten with just about every race colour and creed .. never yet found a whole nations worth of people I dislike )
BUT
I tell jokes that have a racial bias.. It might me about some one from India, Poland, Ireland or Oz..
I do not mean harm nor offence. It is the content of the joke that makes it funny.. not the persons who feature in it..
For instance.. How can you tell the plane on the runway at Sidney airport is from the UK ?
Cos the engines are switched off and you can still hear the whining !
So does that make me a brit hater or anti brit ? No.. But it is a funny joke ( well it is to me but I can appreciate it is not to everyones taste )
One of the dons at uni came from Jamaca. On his wall was an A3 poster ( this is back in the late 60's )
Wanted small blackman for work as mudflap
Must be flexible and willing to travel
Does that make the guy a racist ? No.. it makes him someone who can appreciate the humour of the poster.
