What tyres is a little like how long is a piece of string?
Everyone will have their own opinions and it's usually linked to how they ride.
Here's mine.
I'm on my second set of Angel STs and have no issues with them, I think my last rear did around 7500 (would need to check this though). There's plenty of grip on both wet and dry roads and they give me the confidence to ride hard should I feel the need.
I've thrashed around the twisties, toured & ridden two up and use the bike throughout the year, I can't really fault them.
Previous to that, I've used Bridgestones & Michelins, Bridgestones being the worst.
I'd go for the Pirellis, especially at that price, but then I like them.
