Many years I lost the Triumph on oil on the road. A friend's brother had a panel beating shop and I used to watch him working.
So I took a big hammer to the bike and straightened out the fairing brackets with 2 or 3 good whacks.
Before I might have been messing and probably do more damage.

Mrs Johnboy is vertically challenged and she always used the rear pegs to climb on, never had any issues.

When my bike trailer fell over and my fairing was well shagged, some miscreants set about it with a 3ft scaffolding pole, result, a ridable motorbike till I got it home
