In light of recent events could something like arming the shopkeepers work here.......??

These two scumbags certainly won't rob again, that's for sure.

Did they get what was due to them? or what?

As ex-shopkeepers Jane and me and have been sworn at...spat at...threatned...verbally and physically abused et al

You just wouldn't believe it - to the point where we said "enough is enough" - and closed the shop down

So much so I used to keep a rather nice Queen Anne Wooden Table Leg under the counter - worked rather well on the odd occasion!!

They absoloutely got what they deserved. And I would say this even if the owners were from England, Australlia, Africa, Russia, The Middle East, etc. You simply do not go into an establishment like that wielding weapons. I think this will definetly make future robbers think twice before trying to rob these guys.
