A few years ago, part of my NHS job required me to work as a sexual health advisor to male patients. Most required advice on achieving, and maintaining an erection.
Amongst several different treatments is the pump. It works. Need a cock ring to maintain the erection once the pump is off, just don't leave it on too long! Can cause tissue necrosis.
Most blokes who used it were pleased with the success rate, the main disadvantage was that it's a bit cumbersome. Those who got on with it well used it as a sex toy rather than looking on it as a medical device.
Nowadays Viagra has superceded most other treatments but is no good if you have a dicky ticker.
