Parking tickets

I have had one or two and the git wrapped it round my throttle grip and funnily it fell off in the rain and it's bio degradable too an that was nearly twenty years ago-Never got the memo!
I would consider NOT parking in hot zones as you just know they enjoy dishing them out, if you get pursued and have to face the Wig' assume respect and contest it and offer to pay it back at ?0.69 PER WEEK.One thing is for sure they will write it off at the end of a financial year. The expense in pursuing you can outweigh their parking bounty and a peaceful protest in taking as much time as possible and inundate them with a counter argument (as is your right) until they tire of their legislative nonsense.

Having said all that if you parked on a disabled double yellow space and swanned off for six hours then it'd be a better idea just to pay the man and forget my first suggestion.

You know what - I know bugger all about parking fines but as a reasonably rational and sane human being I would say that all was done that could have reasonably been done in these particular circumstances. Hopefuly the issuer will take the same view if it is appealed.

Two hopes of that Andy...Bob and No!

These parking management companies are blood suckers and care not one iota about what honourable thing an individual may have done to try and resolve a situation , such as the one described by Snoopy. They are a law unto themselves and use pressure tactics that prey on people's vulnerabilities, despite claiming to be signed up to a membership with a nationally recognised organisation with a code of conduct which bans such tactics.

Private parking companies ... I hate them with a passion!

Just popped in for lunch and the piccies are here.

All is looking good for you! :yo:

I can confirm that this is not a "ticket" issued for the breach of rail property bye-laws but a mere piece of paper purporting to be a Penalty Charge Notice. What a bunch of :wank: they are!

I will explain all in my return email...@tu*

Just for info.
I have finally managed to get a reply from my contact about who owns the car park involved.
I'm told it is NOT owned by the railway, and the private Company you mention do issue lots of 'tickets'. Not liked locally at all!!
It is NOT covered by the Railway Bye Laws ( as informed above...)

So good luck with the advice I'm sure you have been given. ;-0))

As it turned out mate, you were on the ball despite not having seen the "ticket" but it was important for Snoopy to have been given the advice that I did via email.

Cheers, no worries ref the pm, as long as the advice I offered was correct, as I said I get a lot of these. Scamming tickets I call them, and its important that you dont enter into a diologe with them as it infers you are accepting that you have entered a contract with them,
