I just carry the panniers into the hotel like suitcases... it's pretty simple really !

Or am I missing something here ? :dunno:

For liners I always use the vacuum bags, they compact clothing brilliantly and keep everything dry at the same time.

Struggled previously carrying hard cases up the stairs of b&b's that we've previously visited. I tend to have a tank bag, helmet, and a hard case to carry, with the missus carrying her helmet and the other case. Strugle to get up the stairs with em, then they won't fit under your bed etc. Complete pain in the arse.

Problem was solved when she bought 2 very cheap (?4 each) zip up beach type bags from I dunno, maybe Asda or Tesco or somewhere. They're large enough to almost fill our 41 litre side boxes, and have two handles on em. Take em out of the panniers, chuck em over your shoulder and jobs a goodun. And you can squash em down to go under a bed. Pink one for her, blue one for me.

(actually mine is brown, but I tried to avoid any pink or brown jokes :)
