Bit of forward planning here peeps :-

Been suggested that we forward plan a few bimbles across the water to be able to play in relative peace

So far looks like :-

a] Late May - Nurburgring - to be organised by Inspector in Brussels. Would be a longish weekend Fri-Tues - starting from Brussels - Nurburgring - Brussels and knowing Inspector will be fuelled by copious amounts of beer [as well as unleaded/diesel go-go juice]. Last year was a riot - we ended up leaving the bar at 05.30! Pace medium to brisk

b] Amsterdam/Assen Long weekend to co-incide with MotoGp weekend. If you've never been to Assen you don't know what you're missing. Could co-incide the weekend with a decent night out in the "better" parts of Amsterdam!! Pace - hmmm mainly dual carriageway

c] Northern Spain -roads to die for!! Try the Playstation then try them for real. Will be a complete week - sail from Plymouth to Santander - N260 routes et al then either back to Santander [or Roscoff if anyone wants to play through France] - Very brisk but plenting of stopping points - not for the faint-hearted

Please show some numbers on the poll [no obligation] and some comments on this thread - if there is sufficient interest I'll post up some approx costings

Roll on 2006 warm weather

Right lets get this one settled.....Who the fucks converted their bird to diesel???:t

Id love to do Spain again. Did it in '93 on an FJ1200 with the ex wife. No hard luggage and a tent strapped to the back of the bike. Hairpins to die for.On one set of them (somewhere north of Barcelona) I lost all braking due to the fluid boiling:eek: . These roads have to be seen and ridden to be belived. (and that includes the run offs. Those who have seen will know.

I really hope I'm fit enough to ride again next year (and have the funds to do so) as Ive wanted to go back ever since I set foot back in Plymouth. Even the Ferry crossing was worth the trip !!!!

Oh how I long for a 'Bird and an EX Limp:B

I would be interested in a Spain trip if it were June ish..

I would then leave ya'll and head down to Malaga after a few days to meet up with 'Emma & James' also call in on Graphite.
I would be traveling LIGHT, no more of this tyre shredding excess luggage.
2 x pairs of gruds, 4 pairs of poisonous sock, pair of shorts, trainers, jeans and a couple of t-shirts........sorted

I'm also still wanting to do the BRNO GP too. :yo:

Fat Berts old Mongrel was a Diesel bike.

At least, it smoked a lot and was slow as fook, so I assume it was.
thought that was his "new" mongrel as well!!! :dunno:
