Actually there is a get out clause & we have used it, our stables are built on skids so technically they are not permanent
These are metal bars that the stable sits on & have a ring to attach chains to.
So a bit like shepherds huts then ..............

Smaller than a stable.. don't get many 7ft+ shepherds
If a Shepherd’s hut is 12’x12’ with a stable door & rubber matting on the floor then yes, a stable is like a Shepherd’s hut
Well like a shepherds hut apart from the width..... but they have stable doors and matting which might be rubber,,,,, before rubber , was straw used on the floor ?
Some people still use straw but it gets covered in horse shit which wouldn’t happen in a Shepherd’s hut
It might do... Some shepherds have got funny habits
Do we need a section for travellers to discuss their accommodation?
They usually visit stables for those
Only the tall shepherds do that.. the rest settle for what they can get in their hut
Shetlands or fallabellas?
The huts are roomy yes, but I doubt you could get a group of islands in one..
And Fallabellas.. Might be interesting to see what a shepherd would make of a troupe of belly dancers
