Gobsmacked at the model helicopter one........
Nice bit of "Extreme 3D"...
I was flying model heli's when 3d started over 15 years ago...
Two guys from Slough radio controlled models were the first in this country to fly in that style(Bob Johnson was one), and they were sponsored by Ripmax (importers of the Concept 30 heli) and they smashed them in every 5 minutes or so... All they di was get new bits bolted on... Made us mere mortals sick as parrots...:bang:
I never got past the hovering "inverted" just above the ground (nowhere as low as that guy though  I could hear the blades tappin the ground
) I do still appreciate the skills of these modern day R/C pilots though
Very impressed,

Ps.... I would hazard a bet he also uses a setting on the tranny on one of the "idle ups" so that the motor is running at 90% or flat out wherever he has the throttle/pitch set. I believe pitch setting goes from +9(about) to -9(about) but the throttle at +/- 9 is full, and at centre stick, pitch is zero degrees, but the throttle is still at 90% .... Also probably a heading hold gyro as well....
At a guess.
