Oh what joy, the bird me and my boy.

I?ve just indulged in one of those simple pleasures of life, so I thought I would share it with you. Not having used the bike for a few weeks and having the day off, I decided to go for a ride with my 9 year old foster son. It took some time to find the linings for our gear and dust down the beast. But it was well worth it, the roads were dry and the sun did shine. Our trip took us to my place of work, to wish the staff and clients of the day centre a Merry Christmas. Part main A roads and the rest twisting back roads. The bird felt as always safe and secure, ideal with the lad on the back. On our return we had a picture taken for his life story book and asked him what he thought of the ride, he said that was as good as any present; and gave me a hug. Oh what joy, the bird me and my boy.

Merry Christmas from the rough and tough biker boys.

Big respect to you for that

I just can't wait for tomorrow to our little lads face when he opens his stuff.
Its usually the most simple things that keep him occupied, he doesn't ask for expensive presents (however Emma did go daft yesterday).
When he's taller i will take him out on the bike then we can enjoy a lads day out. :yo:
