Amazing.
I have a cousin in U.S. married to a woman of similar extraction.
Her mother never admitted to who her U.S. father is. The story allegedly is that he was very senior in "the service" so couldn't be named.

He's actually Irish/Italian.
Other cousins are Irish/Polish!!

I'm guessing they all went to Catholic schools and met through that.

The family reunion was amusing.
About 10 out of 60+ people with Irish names. My grandaunts were the ones who emigrated with only one granduncle to carry on the name.
