You mean Rhino's not getting the Busa now & is sticking with the Bird?

Its not in concrete yet 'IAN'

I've decided to spend some extra ?? on a better car however there may still be sufficient funds to change.

If i keep the BIRD this year it will only be used for a continental blast and little else and a new BUSA 'WILL' arrive at some point.

Sitting here in the cold, ice and rain i wonder why we pay fortunes for a toy for summer when ideally i need 4 wheels for day to day.

As it stands i have the ALFA V6, Peugeot 406 estate and the BIRD, i need to sell all 3 to get the BUSA and also have another decent car SOOOOO if i do sell them prior to 1st March i will still be collecting it but if not i stand to lose a couple of quid deposit.
The reg has gone, the Ohlins has gone, the luggage has gone........if it doesn't go soon i'll break it for spares.

well if you do "break it for spares" the front wheel IS MINE!!!!
Mr Velcro!!! and we both know breaking it is the LAST thing your gonna do!! the bike is FAR too good for that to happen!!

It is far too good however if its gonna get me my money then it shall die..

I really really really don't want to ride it anymore, dunno why, just sick of the sight of it i guess. I can't see any reason why it won't sell if i advertise it, i mean, its only on here at the moment and everyone on here already owns one. c7u8 , i'll hang on until FEBRUARY before pitching it for sale then take it from there.
Have you not had that feeling when you just cannot be arsed anymore??
I can't be arsed with the scene anymore, i'd rather go out for a quick few hours on my own for my fix rather than go out in a group.

you could advertise it on the "Busa" site they will be wanting something decent, after the salt has scrapped their's over winter!! as you say WE all have one !!!
joking aside, have you advertised it on the "Viffer" site and places where they may want to "upgrade" like the "Blade" or the "600" sites?? :dunno:

Yep, and since i bought the 6 The feeling went.

Riding confidence has increased, and i am wanting to ride a bike all the time again.

The BIRD had become a mode of transport rather than a pleasure thing ( if that makes sense )

The roads round here dont help being shite so solo riding is now my bag too .

Funny old world innit !

Sure is, i'm wanting to take off to the Highlands with a small tent and just have a quiet weekend by a river with no mobile phone or worries, just me, my BUSA and a ickle tent.

Know exactly where you're coming from.

Bought me Triumph America and re-discovered what it is that I really enjoy about biking. Not the speed, not the ballistic acceleration, just the feeling of being out on the bike enjoying the ride...happy with my own company.

Do what I did, Andy.....sold the cage !!!!! :}

Bought a '97 'Bird for the daily 100 mile slog backwards and forwards to work. I get cold, wet, I ache when I get to work, I ache once I've ridden home. It's a workhorse and nothing more than that to me. My first 'Bird was cleaned and waxed after every ride...this one gets a hose down at the weekend and what upkeep it needs to stay reliable.

All my spare 'garage time' goes into the Triumph. I get a lot of pleasure adding bits to her, a lot of pleasure from coming up with new ideas for the next modification...and I enjoy pottering around the lanes on her.

Yeh, a club which only caters for 1 make of vehicle only (that's not a classic) can only thrive for so long until the established members start to visit pastures new and try out alternative machinary.

I used to have a Metro repair business which was fantastic for a few years until they became fewer and fewer then i had to adjust with the times.

This site has generated too many friends for me to just leave and go to www.hayabusa.org :yo: .
