I missed the first half & didn’t record it so I can only go by the reports, first point, Gnonto was fouled although debatable whether inside or outside the penalty area but should have been a foul, that’s one the ref got wrong, second one, Firpo scored but the linesman had already ruled Rutter offside which apparently was accepted as the right decision looking at replays, however Farke argues that the scouting feed proves otherwise, have Leeds been robbed of going into the second leg with a two goal lead?

I think it was a foul but outside the area when it started and he was offside for the disallowed goal. I can't really see what Daniel is saying there. Makes for a good match on Thursday. I did watch the whole match.

Ironic that Farke has been saying how great it is that VAR isn’t used in The Championship but was moaning about not having it yesterday as he thought they would have got a penalty if they had VAR.

For what it’s worth my subjective view is that it wasn’t a penalty but Could have gone either way.

The offside decision was correct. Not even close.

The rantings of a man who knows his team have gone off the boil at the worst time possible. Strangely there is normally one team in the play offs that has had a strong finish to the season but they have all been on a poorish run.

According to Farke the scouting feed shows that Rutter wasn’t offside, Farke is generally gracious & honest, as I say I’ve not seen it so can’t offer an opinion other than to say Ref’s are always wrong.

Well tonight's match is going well for Leeds.

Comes to something when my wife comes out with "Leeds are doing well, playing with some pace".

derek kelly i have a problem with the referee.

at least six Leeds substitutes and numerous members of staff entered the playing area to celebrate the first goal without the referee’s permission which is a cautionable offence. They then left the playing area without the referee’s permission - which is also a cautionable offence - so they should have been dismissed.

Similarly for the second goal at leat four Leeds players left the pitch without the referee’s permission and then returned without the referees permission, both cautionable and , therefore, they should have been dismissed.

Once a cheating club always a cheating club.

Most professional teams would have players dismissed if that were enforced, what about when the ball goes out of play for a throw in? The player doesn’t say to the ref “please sir, can I get my ball back.
Cheating? Have a look who won the fair play league in the Championship, whilst you’re at it look at which was the most fouled club in the Championship.
You’re just bitter because your team has fallen apart & have forgotten how to celebrate a goal. :dogpile:

Technically a player can be cautioned for taking a throw in without the referee giving him/her permission to leave the field of play.

I think you will find The Mighty Reds have a 100% win record since Thursday and celebrated three goals in that time.

But they weren’t playing a top team like Crystal Palace
