What happened to privacy and dignity?
Relatives received a call to get their arse
up to ICU as the Father in law has had
a relapse, low sats, erratic heart beat
and they cannot do anything.
Mad rush to taxi everyone up to hospital.
I came back home as I really don't want to see another death bed. Had enough with
my immediate family members, thank you.
It turns out that he, 'Father in law' has
no change in his symptoms and that they are expecting the inevitable, just a waiting game really. He is in a ward of six and the only privacy is the poxy curtain that they trundle around the bed. FFS!
