After 5 years off having two different VTR1000F's (Firestorm) i decided to sell and buy a Bird after seeing one cheap, as i've always wanted one.

Its a 1998 carb model but late registered in 1999 with just over 20k miles on the clock.

Got it cheap as it had been dropped on the right hand side, always wanted one but never got around to it until now. Well the price was right so i got a bargain!

Heres a pic of the good side. :p

I believe they call this colour Titanium Metallic?
Never see many around in this colour.

Cheers all.

Greetings.

Looks ok, but what's it like on the bad side?

Lumpy is right, they used to leave them that colour for the owners who couldn't decide if they wanted to go fast ( Black or Yellow), shag sheep ( Blue), or go really slow (Red and Pink shades), or go really posh but not ride them much (Silver).

Brillo pad to the downpipes? Nah not worth it on these old mild steel pipes. :)

Mickey, yup that would of been me with the Mrs on the back about that time.

I know there is another, same similar age and colour on the road around here somewhere, always pass them on the A259 heading towards Eastbourne.
Don't know if they are on here or not?
