A lot of people have already asked about fitting the Viper front with the Azaro rear?
Excellent grip on the front, superb wear on the rear, what more could you want?
So I tried it and NO DON'T DO IT!!
Felt ok at first, low speed, just pottering about, fine! Started to pick the pace up a bit and at steep lean angles the bike started tipping in, not an ideal thing to happen once you are already lent over.
Last thing I did to try and upset things was braking hard whilst lent over, this caused the bike to sit up sharply but only for about half the lean angle, then it went completely neutral, just as your putting the input in to counter the up stand.
Please remember, this did happen whilst the tyre was under duress and these symptoms would not normally be noticed under normal riding conditions. But the profiles are NOT compatible.
