Don't think it makes much difference Joe, there's that many pics of the bike on this forum, apart from that, North Wales police go to the extreme extent of measuring the letters on number plates to see if they are legal!!!DIRTY SANCHEZ said:What's wrong with the plate (apart from it's going to be cloned now by every other black barge rider in the UK)?

AH!!! THE 64.000 Doller question!! :bang: and the next one is, WHY is it going on??? :dunno:MUCKY SANTA said:what is going on in the UK? h1d1ng2
Yes Joe,What is going on??? - Mate of mine out on his brand new Triumph the other week (in North Wales) was stopped by the Police for having a race can, which was supplied and fitted by the dealer as part of the deal. The Police gave my mate a sort of ASBO and he was told that if he is caught in North Wales again with any ilegal parts on his bike, they will confiscate it and get it crushed!!!DIRTY SANCHEZ said:what is going on in the UK? h1d1ng2
Hiya Gerry, gerryc said:Howard I know its an age old question but seeing as most people are talking about 1100XX's I'm interestedto know what you run the 1200 on and does it see much of wet roads.
I've always had BT020's on my 1200 and reckon they're sh!t spinning up in just about all gears in the wet.
I'm off to knockhill for a trackday on Friday so will probably destroy what's left of the current 020's so will be in the market for new boots next week, any input from some opne with experience of similar power would be appreciated even if its a definate not to use
Is your arm better now Mac??lumpy said:you want to ask someone that can ride.
Cheers Howard I might give them a go the only decent tyre dealer up here stocks bridgestones so this would be easierHoward said:Hiya Gerry,
The tyres on the bike when I got were Avon Azaro's, they needed replacing so I put 021's on. I have just been to the South of France, Ardeche, Alps etc, covering over 2,500 miles in a week, they never once let go in all sorts of weather. I also used to find the 020's spinning up on wet or greasy roads on a bog standard Bird, In fact had a huge step out at about 80mph on my old Bird with them. The new 021's seem to give me lots more confidence and were brilliant around the Alps. They have squared off a little bit, but nowhere as much as the 020's would have on the same trip. I think feedback from anyone else who has 021,s is also very favourable. I am truly getting to know the power of this bike the more I ride it, Great fun when it hits the power band in 2nd and 3rd with the front wheel popping up!
