Update

Hi Guys, w;;v
haven't been in for a while - forgot login details. Anyway, had the Blackie for a few weeks now and getting more and more into it. The riding position was a bit too much for me so I did the VFR bar conversion and what a difference - when you look at both bars, it doesn't seem like it will work but it does. I am gearing up for Europe in 3 weeks and am waiting for bits to come for the trip. New tyres and chain etc. Still to sort out the electrics (Sat Nav) and a few others bits and pieces before we go. Heading for Luzern as a base for a couple of days and do the passes then maybe on to France, would like to get a Gite or something but haven't found anything yet - any ideas?
Good to be back

I think if you asked in the Touring Issues or in the Cooffee Shop you would get more response. This is a bit of a backwater in the Bbird pond. Never even seen Karlos in here! p0pc0rn41

Another new owner/member

Hi all, I am also a new member and have in the past three weeks taken delivery of my first bike for 34 years. (last was a new honda CB175!!!):yo: It is a black blackbird 2006 which now has 4000 miles clocked up (Bought it with 3400 on). It is standard apart from a Scottoiler and a carbon Pyramid hugger which I fitted 2 days ago. I have just changed oil and filter and thanks to reading past postings I used semi-synthetic instead of fully synthetic...... Thanks for that guys. the bird is beautiful and I know it will serve well. I will post a pic when I can get a good shot.
