A great Bike, and a LOAD of ribbing and shit on here, @tu* give as good as you get and after using the search button above, then ask the questions if you cant find what your looking for, :dunno:

BTW in the Coffee shop where you've posted, your "game" for all and sundry to have a dig at !! so any "sensible" questions/comments should go in the correct part of the forum!! good luck and enjoy the bike!!@tu*

welcome,

first thing to do is look around and see if you are too ashamed to post again. This will largely depend on what colour it is.

As long as you got a fast red one you'll be ok. :yo:

ignore that. bunny is one of our resident geriatric gays who has dementia so doesn't care about having a red one.

Picked her up...

Hello guys and gals. Picked up the bird tonight and got my first ride. all of 16 miles around the A406 north circular at rush hour. Traffic was too heavy to get a true idea of the bike however I am pretty chuffed. So before I explain further I will introduce you to my bird.

The Standard stuff

1998 carbed model with 34k on the clock
Black in colour.
Givi top box and rack
Honda heated grips
vfr800 bars

The Non Standard stuff

Mistral tuned flowed head
Akra Full system
Dyno jetted stage 1
Dyno graph showing 162bhp at rear wheel
Maxton shock
Forks rebuilt by Maxton
Jack up plate for rear shock
Brakes delinked
Front brakes now Brembos

So now you have a idea. I am coming from riding an RSV for the last 13 years. But I ride a Pan or RT1200 for work ( Can you guess what I do?).
Ok Back to ride. Its smooth very smooth....Balanced and stable. Picks up nicely not opened her up fully but will tell you what that's like when I do. Riding position is ok but will get the footpeg lowering kit before I take the bike of to France in July but for now its fine. The best bit however is the ride. its the best suspended bike I have ever ridden. The shock and forks are sublime and have been set up so well. But as I say I have only ridden 16miles in heavy traffic.

I will keep you all posted with detail of my next ride, maybe Sunday if the weather holds.

And finally thank you all for making me feel welcome.
