Hi ladies and gents,
I am on the look out for a bird, low mileage and excellent condition obviously, I am looking to spend about £4000 and would prefer black or silver, Not asking a lot I know. I have seen a couple on MCN, Motorcycle Supermarket and the Autotrader but I spoke to "JAWS" today and he suggested posting on here. So many thanks in advance and hope to hear from you guys.

Welcome and enjoy the banter on here. Coming from Liverpool you will be well capable of holding your own. @tu*

Clueless in most things
Birds break down into 3 differences mainly. early ones that are carbies, then injection but non cat, then injection with cats.

Have a good read around and see what you feel is your preferred choice. You can get a perfectly good one from 2-3k. Black goes all through the years and silver came in much later.

I've had a black carb before that's why I am choosing a bird again. Loved it.
