Looking good

really nice and subtle paint scheme, even if it's not black! Silver always works well, especially with blue. How do you get on with those Blueflame cans? I'm looking at a pair for mine and want to know what other Bird riders think.

Cheers, Stef.

Hi Steve UKGS'er forum always loads of stuff for sale yuo gotta be quick though
hows the new family member
Spot on mate, I got it frpom the BMW off road school over near you somewhere I think? the company bought it actually, done a good deal with them really, they buy it, I train with it & get to ride it for a year, then we sell it and get another!! Its a bit battle scared though, but i apparently got the best of the bunch! Down pipes are a bit dented, scuffs on every panel, oh, and the sump guard is missing? but it is an 05(march) bike with h/grips,ABS & spoked wheels, (retail 10k), & with 1400 miles we paid 6k for it. I will try & post some piccies, (or mail them).

I have been on UKGS'er and nothing on there I wanted at the moment, thanks for the tip. STEVE.

p.s. kids are fine as well.

Where's the Ohlins adjuster anchored to Blu?
The compression adjuster was under the left side of the tail piece but was a twat to adjust so I moved it to here now I can adjust it on the move a few clicks either way depending on conditions works a treat
the preload one won't fit to the can bracket with the high levels fitted so I made a bracket to the rear subframe

Good thinking with the compression adjuster mate. How is it attached? I may move mine there as well. Can you loosen the hose bolt to turn the reservoir without loosing any gas?

I also like the rearsets, are they Gilles jobbies? As I'm 6'2" I find my legs are a little cramped on the Bird on a long ride. How much adjustment can you get from them?
