Many thanks I've been thinking of getting a new filter. One of the best performance/mpg boost mods you can do and it's cheap as chips!!

By the way I have only just turned 28, any other bird owners as young as me on here? I'm guessing I'm quite young compared to the average owner

both my kids are older than you

Oh dear, watch out for those offering sweeties. Those offering to comb your hair (aka grooming). Those offering to meet after dark. Those asking if you like chocolate starfish.

Well we did have someone younger than you once. For one night.

I noticed he lived quite close to me and asked him if he wanted to be my toy boy. Never saw him again h1d1ng2

Anyway, back to you.

Wanna sweetie, little boy?

You're probably the only one to have asked that question. So obviously not all 'Bird owners.

I get anything from 120 to 150 per tank depending on how i ride, i also have the same exhausts on mine as you have. I changed my air filter a couple of months ago and did notice a slight improvement in fuel but then i dont ride with economy in mind, i just ride.

Interestingly I had 150 miles on the last bar as I pulled up at a petrol station tonight. I don't know whether that's because the bike is being used more now (she must of been stood for a good year in a garage before I got my grubby hands on her).

I did use to have a VFR so perhaps I am used to revving too much and now as I am settling down and getting used to the bike I am cruising much lower in the range - that's my only guess anyway as 30 more miles to reserve is quite a difference.

I've also fitted a new Pilot on the front at 42psi. oh my what a difference :yo:
