New advanced riding qualification

Just got notification from the City and Guilds institute that they have approved two of the four new levels of advanced motorcycle qualification that I have been working on for the past few months. The second two will follow later in the year

Level 1 is for immediate post DAS or recently qualified. (City and Guilds qualified)

Level 2 is the full advanced qualification

Level 3 is the instructor qualification

Level 4 is examiner qualification.

Most of the courses will be run from Tidworth in Wiltshire, and we have a good team of instructors (which will include all being well Bob Pinder), but there will be an allowance for certain courses to be run in other parts of the country once it is established.

Already got interest from the Military, but more surprisingly from the far east, so a few overseas trips may be on the horizon.

Once we have the website up and running I will let you know, but if anyone fancies training for a more formal riding NVQ, you may want to consider this course at level 1 or 2.

Coddy - I think it has ceased to be - both the Peter Henshaw and Jane Omorogbe now work on Motorcycle Sport! T.C. next?

Peter is working freelance for MSL (which he has done for many years), but he and Laurence have a meeting with a potential investor on Thursday at 12 midday. Don't think they would ask Peter to come all the way up from Cornwall to Abingdon unless there was a likelyhood of a positive outcome!

Blue Point media are the culprits, still haven't paid any of the contributors so now we are all looking to issue proceedings against them (in fact some have already started)!

Good luck TC.

The advanced riding sounds good, as I said before I'm very definatly up for more info.

As for MV, I really hope it makes a come back, it was a good idea, it had a following, most prob never be as popular as RIDE, Fast Bikes etc, but there was a market there, so fingers crossed for the future. :yo:

Thanks TC... As I said, I wasnt having a go at you... Just annoyed that they took my money as I said, and I cant afford to lose money like that... Its hard enough to come by as it is..

Best of luck to you with the court proceedings.

Best wishes,

Rolfy
