Had a free day today, away from the kids so fired the BB up and had a ride around Kent and East Sussex, going from the Isle of Sheppey to Faversham, Ashford, Brenzett, Rye, Hastings, Tenterden, Herne bay then back to Sheppey, had coffee in Rye near the Harbour, seems to be a bit of a bike meeting area there as well, followed by Fish & Chips in hastings and a wander around with a 99. There is a nice bike park in Hastings, with secure anchorage for chains as well. It pissed down as we left Hastings, had to stop in Tenterden for a coffee and to buy a pair of waterproof trousers, cos I left mine at home c7u8 Wife was OK she had her Goretex clobber on, all in all a good day, did 160 miles, and had the Odo at 180 miles when I filled up with petrol, and the warning light had not come on, so should have seen 200 to a tank, best yet has been 157!!
