Aint that a bugger !
A few days earlier and it would have been quite a bit cheaper

I didn’t know that !! But as I am not the first owner ……
But I’m happy driving around in my creation, so whatever it costs ….

I am not saying what the tax is on my new one as quite reasonably there would be comments along the lines of ‘you could buy there houses in Yorkshire for that’.

what hacks me off is that when you cancel the tax when selling you lose the ‘unused’ part of the month you are selling in and you lose whatever is left of the month you are buying in. So You lose both ways.
If you check back a few years that is precisely what I posted..

I went to Brooklands revival today in my creation

I was asked to use a different car park .. so I followed the instructions and ended up in the exhibitors car park !!!

Lots of people came over for a look and ask lots of questions !!
Took me ages to walk out of the exhibitors show parking to go and see what other vehicles were on show !!
A good day out !!
(Except a wheel spinner fell off on route !! )

Went to another Classic car show at the weekend
Here are a couple of pics ….. think the photographer used different settings as the colours are a bit off
But rather pleased with the looks 66CEED15-B423-4676-981A-D9D938B891B6.jpegC4A18ED9-E3C3-4BE4-8259-F56D3A6D700D.jpeg

The bottom pic looks like it's had the HDR (High dynamic range) treatment which means a multi-exposure technique allowing to capture high dynamic range images by taking and then combining several different exposures of the same subject matter. Images captured by cameras allow differentiation only within a certain range of luminosity.
Unfortunately it's looks too weak on the
second pic, but it's down to personal taste
& you can under or over cook the process.
It's undercooked imo.

It’s not far off original specifications ….
Another person who did similar measured a genuine Cobra and our copies…. And there’s only a inch or so difference

However the size of the driver makes the car look small !!
Even a raised blackbird looks small when I’m on it !!

You make that Mustang replica look small too. :risas3:

Seriously though, would you better protected with a higher headrest?

It really is something I have thought about !
These are BMW issue, anything taller the conv roof wouldn’t go over it
Hoping I will never need to test the ‘roll over’ hoops

Presumably the hoops don’t ‘get taller’ if the car is going over?
