Lack of impetus this week…. Caused by weather being dull and life getting in the way !

But got the lights up and running again….
Started re-meshing the big holes in the front

Quite liked the result !!

And unfortunately the prize money has been spent on a trip to Iceland !!

That’s the country …. NOT the frozen food shop !!

A bit too chilly on my week off !!! Obviously …. It’s my week off so weather has been awful !

But today I put the side grills back in and got the side repeaters to work properly

I know the bonnet gap doesn’t look right .. but the bonnet was open E608E80F-D3F8-4627-926A-8C494823D26A.jpeg

Re visited the lights today …..
so I’m not sure which versions I prefer (bearing in mind that my build has modern twists of a Cobra)

Opinions please ….. with indicator ring on headlights or without ??

PS I know I’m missing the chrome trim rings …. And the stainless headlight guards

As you say, modern twists so no need to replicate original.

I'd say as you have the ring option use it, no point it letting it go to waste :)

Without......too messy with both headlight ring and indicator flashing at the same time,

It’s Amber John …. Indicators !

Either the single indicator OR with the addition of an extra illuminated amber ring around the headlight (I didn’t know the headlights had these built in).. like an angel eye in white for the side light which then turns amber when the indicator is on

You got it correct …. Indicator only OR indicator and amber angel ring …….. or possibly amber angel ring only ???

In that case, if the ring is bright enough ( must be the equivelent of a 21w bulb under uses and construction ) I reckon it would be a great option as the indicator.. Nice and clean

Arrrrrrrgh! I thought you was on about the
angel eye, that's a keeper, but not as an
indicator. Wire it up to the dipped beam.
