Very nice indeed. See what you mean about the tank protector. Geelong Carbon Craft do a nice one here in Oz. Don't know if you can get them in the UK.

Lest we forget....

....Just got mine (third 'Bird) back after its 4K service...

...Spent two days trolloping around on a "courtesy" bike ("naked" Honda 600F) and really enjoyed it. It was interesting to apply the front brake - and then to wait a second or so for the expected decrease in momentum/dip-at-the-front... A very interesting wait!!

Picked the 'Bird up this evening and was astonished by the sheer size and power of the brute after my two-day jaunt on the "little" 600.

All I'm trying to say is: "Ride Safe" at all times - -

Most of us on this forum have been around these machines for some considerable time/mileage, and we tend to forget what they are (kinda like Lion Tamers, I guess).

Get to know your 'Bird SAFELY - - -

'Cos these things can bite ya...HARD...
