my first 'proper' bike

A new 1979 CB750 K7 !!
It was complete with 4 into 4 exhaust system, but couldn't afford a replacement so ended up with the 4 into 2 as the photo.
It was eventually rebored to 850cc and we went across to Switzerland once and the Black Forest another time on it.
It was reliable and really quick (for an old bike) but the frame was made of elastic, culminating in my first 'tankslapper', not recommended !
It eventually did over 70,000 miles in 9 years when I sold her to by a Honda Dominator (don't laff!).
Brilliant bike, especially when it had the 4 exhausts, probalby lying in a rusty heap somewhere now :B

rubber frames

yeah it was definately an 'interesting' ride.
This VF1000 was my next long termer (9 years), it started out in standard red, white & blue but I got bored (again) and got this done to it. Getting that V4 lump back into the frame was an absolute nightmare !!
It went like stink though and I had the point to prove it !
