Went into my local Sony centre today to have a look at their new NWE 407 1Gb mp3 player, nice bit of kit, and they opened one up and showed me how easy it was to get it up and running from scratch using a Sony Vaio vgc M1 tabletop TV/PC on display. Within 5 minutes all the info was loaded and I listened to the quality of the music reproduction, not bad at all. ?129 seems a tad dear for some music to listen to whilst on the Bird, but what really was good was this Vaio M1, a tabletop 160Gb hard drive TV recorder, with dvd writing facility of recorded stuff, LCD display, good sound from the speakers, optical mouse and keyboard, which all folds away. All nice and neat, would be great for watching films in a bedroom etc.
So I wasted enough time and my bank had now opened to pay a cheque in, and back on the bike, not a penny spent. :yo:
