Slow to change it, works so well as is but couldn't resist this.
Full ti zero moriwaki race system.
Weldings rather neat, god bless their little yellow hands.
Light. About 14kg saving it seems.
Popped up on ebay. Bagged it before auction end.
Was originally on dave hancocks bird supposedly. Stacks up, his name and address at Honda Slough are on the original label.
Pretty much as new, which is nice, sat on a shelf all those yrs. Maybe our dave didnt like loud bikes. These were over 250000 yen from mori back in the day, thick end of 1500 gbp.
Seems filter and sump nut are still accessible. Has a groovy cnc bracket to relocate the stop for the centre stand. Well though out.
And..
..are on the way.
Spoke to dyno man and aftermarket jet kits are out. Stock range of jets needles should cover it.
Stock she pulls the usual 133 on a 250I, concensus seems to be high 140's with the usual bird dip eliminated too. Hopefully mpg wont suffer too much. Im keeping induction standard.
Will post up graph when done.
My birds obviously carbed and has covered under ten thousand kilometres from new so im hopeful the studs will ease out with some plusgas and swearing.
Any relevant advice very welcome indeed.
