SHOP THE B*STARD.
I dont normally agree with everyone, but I will make an exception on this occassion! I had a run in with an uninsured driver last year, fortunately no physical harm done, but as everyone else says, it could be your mother/daughter/sister that he mows down!!!!! And dis-associate yourself from him, he doesn't deserve any friends.
Take it easy people man8um

Definately report him.

Just over a year ago a 19 year old colleague of my wife, and her boyfriend, were wiped out by a drunk, drugged, uninsured, banned driver. The only "good" thing to come out of it was that the bastard died as well, and I don't usually wish death on anyone. He was only 23.

The irony was that he was arrested the previous day for driving whilst disqualified etc but the police had to bail him and he was free to carry on driving. I believe things have changed now and the cars can be confiscated, but thats not much use when the toe-rags can buy a scrapper for a weeks dole money.

Perhaps part of the sentence for drink drivers should be to attend the funeral of a victim of said offence. It may get through to at least a few of them.

When my brother in law first introduced us to his girlfriend ( that went on to become his wife and bear him two children) she used to drive around in an old Skoda estelle, after the second child she said she needed a new car so she bought a brand new Skoda super estelle, time went on they went through a messy divorce, she took brother in law for everything, she moved house to be nearer her parents, last year we find out that she had to sell her car to her sister because she has never passed her driving test, she got a small fine and a two year ban. the oldest child is now eleven, so she has been driving her two children round for eleven years knowing full well that she had not passed her test and knowing full well that her insurance was invalid, and for this she recieved a two year ban.

No contest

Shop the bastard - nasty RTA here in Chester on Wednesday - car came out of a roundabout and crossed the road hitting another car head on. Young mother of 23 and a 6 month old baby. They got the baby out of a window but the mother was pinned by her legs. Off with the roof to get her out. Mother critical and baby poorly. Other driver? 3 times over and the airbag saved him from any damage. Shithouse! Again, shop the bastard!

Shop him

Clive - the law arrested him at the scene and then had to de-arrest him at the Hospital. Bet he gets off?
Why aren't you in Scotland, anyway?

Several years ago a colleague was banned for speeding in his Mitsubishi Starrion, not only was this guy a colleague but so was his father, i spotted his car in the car park and when I saw him in work I asked him who brought him to work, he grinned and replied I drove myself, I informed him that if I saw him getting into the drivers side of his car I would shop him, he phoned his brother to pick him up.

Thanks for all the responses from everyone. I knew the answer to my question, just wondered how others felt. Situation now resolved.
Did anyone read the paper the other day where some woman escaped a prison sentence, even though she was 5 times over the limit and had crashed her car? Apparently she was depressed and very remorseful. Those 2 speeding bikers in Beds last year should have said the same and avoided their prison sentence. Except they would'nt have done, would they?
