I did in 2003 as part of a car driving holiday. It was really the last main stop on our tour. When we left we went East to Menton and then basically up the Col Du Turini, loads of mountains and then to a hotel for an overnight in mid/northern France.
I was knackered after the drive (about 10 hours of hairpins!) so maybe a bit much on a bike .... or may be not.
The view we had in Monaco wasn't too bad.
It was the week before the F1 GP (we'd just come from the San Remo GP).
This meant we had some fun driving the "track" @tu*
