not a mini moto but ........

one of those little radio controlled bikes.

Funny little story ... when the bike meets used to be at Six Hills near Melton Mowbray, a "dealer" used to turn up with these little things and amused onlookers with the antics of this thing, and they are surprisingly quick and nimble (relatively).

Picture the scene:- 500+ bikers all parked up and generally enjoying a summers jar, little bike zipping about, then some twerp on a supermoto something or other comes into the car park, rider clocks this thing and decides (unwisely as it turns out) to chase it with an obvious view of squashing the little fooker. He was doing quite well until he clipped a rather large chap carrying a load of beer glasses.

New beer was bought and feathers smoothed ........ and he then proceeds to carry on giving chase of the toy.

Eventually the inevitable happened, ran over the lickle beastie with his front wheel, supermoto goes for a wobble and slide and runs straight into this huge Hardley Moving parked up, which goes down like the twin towers. Silence. oops.

And you don't need me to tell you who the owner of the Hardley was, suffice to say that he was just returning from the bar with a fresh round of drinks following an earlier run in with a chap on a supermoto .......... :eek: :eek: %$fan

I dunno what the outcome was as I was just leaving when it happened, but I didn't ever see the supermoto guy there again ............ :dunno: :}

Did anyone see that story in MCN today?? Total numpties stole a landcrusier and ram raided their local bike shop. Only problem was they was travelling too fast, took out the shutter, two R6's, a thunderchat, CBR600, A ZX7R, 20 other bikes and a display of Shoie lids. Fuel from the bikes flooded the concourse and the Landcruiser was written off in the process. Caused over ?100K of damage and they stole........

4 mini motos to the value of ?2580!!!! They created so much noise that the local cop shop heard and attended before they even got one call! Still missed 'em though!

Hamlet moment per chance?

Semi old fart moment..
Could be ok in car park if rider was not showing off and was just using it to tootle around and raise a few grins.. Racing about on one in car park just aint funny cos 'it' IS gonna happen large sooner or later !

I was a bit undecided but after you comments I feel moved to say that they should be run in a Car Park not a track. :f
