Hi Micky it was a round trip of 1578 with no site seeing on the bike as the chain made a few clunking noises so it stayed in the garage while we were there, it was a good trip all round very relaxing once we arrived, miss my turn coming back and went round the Boulevard Peripherique it was fun but very busy i would rather be on a bike than in a car, we had a run down to Perigueux for the afternoon very nice place. The tolls were ok, it cost about 24 euro one way we took your advice and headed to the manned ones and stayed on the tolls all the way down, we have decided we would do it again but make the stay over longer as it?s a long way for a long weekend we would like to take 2 days to get down not doing it in one hit.

wah hey, sounds like a good one :yo: full respect as I know it's a long way in one hit :bow: perhaps we could team up another time and travel down together, i would of coarse turn left at La soutaraine and bugger off to mine and we could maybe tie in to ride back up. h1d1ng2 what do you think, sounds like a plan :dunno:
