Got a Melboy on mine with the inserts. A bit better than the original and hasn't gone off after a year. Only problem is that I don't leave it out in the rain with the seat uncovered anymore. The rain gets into the set padding and takes ages to dry out. :violin:

I thought they were rain resistant, not waterproof but at least resistant? Are they worse than the standard seat for absorbing rain? :dunno:

It should be alright if you look after it Jono give it regular coating with boot polish and dubbing on the stitching, just like a pair of shoes really :f
