Had a great 8 days on the continent with great friends. our trip consisted of a 7.30am start on Thursday 27th off to Jon & Anyas,, quick coffee then off to pick up Al & B & Mike & debs at Hopwood services on M42,,,,,,, then its a 12.30 meet at Clacket Lane services on the M25 I think,,with (taffy)Dave & Ros, & Moog,, another coffee/water break then off to Dover to catch the ferry temps at Dover were 32 degrees C.

Had a good crossing ,, arrived at the Holiday inn Calais ready to shower,,change & party at our very own Cafe de Paris ( becoming a regular haunt for us.)

Next morning its off to Verdun,, & we have a whole Chateau to ourselves :yo: with pool  The accomodation, beer ,,wine local brandy & 5 course dinner was brill. GPS worked a treat.

Morning arrived with yet more sunshine,,, so its off to our final place to stay for 5 nights,,which was in Titisee in the southern Black Forest,,,,,, a fab hotel & thanks to Jon & Anya for sharing it with us,, we will def go back again.
We found some great roads & had some high speed fun at times  loads of twisties. Went to the Rhine Falls & yes its in Switzerland isn't it Jon :} & we also had a great day in & around Interlaken & Grindalwald,, again great roads.
Will let the others add things I have missed, loads of memories ,, thanks to you all for your company & friendship,,Lorna & I had a wonderful time & can't wait til the next time :k ,, We even got Moog fixed up with a local lady :} (see pic)

What a week we had, fantastic weather, great friends to share it all with and the hotels were brill. Nothing more to add realy, shrops has said it all, but I did notice that he missed any note about Monday in Germany, prolly because he was so pissed Sunday night he can't recall what went on on Monday, 1 litre jugs of beer being the biggest problem.

Just a public word of thanks to the Massif, You made our holiday and we are glad you enjoyed our little secret in the Blackforest.

Here's to Scotland and I have had some ideas about 2006, will share those in August.

Absolutely brilliant .........

There's not a lot more we can add to the comments already made really.

Excellent accommodation, hosts, food, drink but, most of all the best company we could hope for. It really made the holiday to spend it with like minded people, sharing our passion for bike riding.

Only downside......

It went too quick :B :B

Looking forward to August and our little jaunt to Scotland :yo:

Let's hope the sun god stays with us for then , can't wait
