MARCH DATES - early cos of party clash

OK - unfortunately the Ogri club has a private party booked for the April dates that we prefered (mostly!!), but they have said we can use the clubhouse on the saturday of the March dates. So, the plan currently looks like this -

SOSB dates 23rd - 25th March

Camping (vans and tents) - all weekend
Kit can be posted to site (address to be advised) to save tying to pack the bikes!!

Friday night - currently sorting out use of the airfield restuarant for the Friday night

Rideout on Saturday

Saturday night - party in the Ogri Club House - bat closes when last person falls or leaves (apparently!!)!!!!

Also - possibility of visiting 'Delta Jets' to see the Hunters (for those who know what that means!!!)

Costs to be advised, but will be very reasonable!

Please let us know if this is still ok - I know it is early, but there is plenty of room to park/put up tents, not so close to the main BASH, entertainment provided by the usual suspects (I'm sure) - possibility of free earplugs for light sleepers!!

If you guys are still interested, then we will confirm with the Ogri club!!

PS - Date is still tentative. I asked Ogri for the later date only and that is the one that clashes, but they have said yes in principal. If we decide we want the earlier date I will get in touch with El Presidente again to check bookings for that date.

The deal is, the club do not want to rent out the clubhouse for other people's functions, but are happy to allow us to join in with a club open party, much the way we did at Lumb Farm (which worked rather well). Ogri have also agreed that we can arrive on the Friday, but the clubhouse will not be open on the Fiday night, however, since there is a restaurant in the middle of the airfield, I will approach them about doing something on the Friday night, and I'm sure we can use the clubhouse loos and sinks on the Friday.

The cost of the camping and entry on Saturday night is generally ?3. The cost of the Friday night is yet to be negotiated once I have approximate numbers and a firm date.

OK guys and gals, who's coming?

Yes in principal to a joint do, but no to April as it clashes with a club only Birthday Party.
