Can anyone tell me why I have to keep logging in when I visit the site cos I`ve asked it to remember me.
Anything I can do to stop it or are people trying to tell me something?? :dunno: :dunno: :h

Had the same problem since the colour scheme shifty business, try clearing your cookies and purge your browser cache may help,

I changed the default appearance to vBuletin v 2 and now have lost the tabs to set it back

Personally I blame Wolfie.

Look in your user CP and see if it is set in there ok ( dunno if the option is still in there on this version )..
Also... do you and Andy share the same machine or IP address ? If you do then that is what is happening. You are simply being logged out cos more than one person is using the same thing

I also blame Wolfie, even more since I don`t have a scooby how I`m supposed to reset the cookies. I thought they were for eating :B :B :h

Ah thats why the option has gone / or maybe not tuned on.

To purge your cookies click on tools, click on internet options (bottom),press button marked delete cookies.

If you are using the same machine to log on as Andy you will need to either have 2 seperate windows accounts or easier still install a seperate browser like Netscape or Opera for one of you. I would recommend against using Mozzilla Firefox and Internet explorer on yhe same machine as I am having horrendous incompatibillity problems between the two.

It is full of bug fixes and security enhancements, most of what it does is behind the scenes so if you are really lucky it will remain unnoticed.

It has broken a few of my applications and in conjunction with windows defragmenter has trashed one of the elements of my Raid array

The colour change is a bit of a red herring.. It was poor timing really as I did not know Wiz was about to do an upgrade today, which has altered a few odds and sods as well as the colours !
Skippy, I have reset your account so that you are in V3 again mate.. If that aint how you want it let me know and I will put it back to default again

Hi Skip

I've had the same problem, but intermittently, which is even worse. I can't blame it on XP service Pack 2 cos I'm downloading it at this very moment. The other thing which periodically happens is that I lose the animations of avatars , smilies and so on. Now figure that one out!

This weekend is one of the big ones for north island Kiwi bikers. About 2000 bikers gather on the snowline on our volcanoes and camp out in freezing temperatures for the weekend - burnout competitions, hill climbs, wet T shirt competitions the lot. Personally, I hate the cold so have never attended. 8ree!

Cheers

Geoff

I'm glad I've not noticed it then mind you I'm about due a defrag.

Be carefull m8 there have been a few reports of XP defrag trashing drives under certain conditions with SP2 fortunately mine boots windows from a seprate drive to my applications but the damage is not repairable so I will need to do a full reinstallation sooner or later.

Hiya Geoff, ya lightweight don't let a little nip in the air put you off rallying

If you are in the process of installing SP2 m8 watch out for the above I,ve been running it for 2 and a half months as part of the Microsoft Beta program so I've seen the best and the worst of it

E-mail on the way soon ..........honest as I've been unforgiveably slack and otherwise pre-occupied of late

I guess by the absence of a delete cookies button that you are the one running Firefox
so you need to open tools, click on the privacy "padlock" on the left and then press the button opposite the word cookies that says clear.
