My brother's neighbour had Alfas.
My nephews always laughed and said that it was more often in the garage than at the house.

The Mazda. We've had 3 over the years... 2 Mk1's and 1 Mk2. All were 1.6L petrols but the diesels are well rated.

You are all,wrong.

Alfa.

Everyone should own an Alfa once in their life. And the Alfa is petrol therefore total no brainier.

it’s probably a Mazda underneath anyway.

I would love the Alpha. I've often been told that they're a drivers car but for pure practical reasons . . . the Mazda. Every time.

I had a Mazda Tribute a few years ago. It was their 4x4. Bloody brilliant, plenty of power, handled well. Loved it until it needed a new rear exhaust. Nowhere stocked them. Nowhere! You could only get it from Mazda for £800!!!!!! Ended up having a full stainless one built for £500.

Head, and every ounce of what little common sense I possess, says Mazda but heart says Alfa. The Mazda is a good car insofar as it’ll do what’s designed to do, but it’s way too brown socks for me.

As it’s free, I’d get the Alfa and trade it in for a Giulietta.

Would love to say Alfa, as has been said, every petrol head should try one at some point, but from experience of them in the past, I'd go for the Mazda, even if it is diesel.

Both

the Alfa to look flash in
the Mazda to drive whilst the Alfa was in a garage being fixed

mind you I would probably swap the Mazda for an MX5 :car:
