I got two sets of led bulbs off ebay a while ago, Red & Blue. I tried the red uns first but they were just a bit too dim (slightly brighter and they would've been brilliant), so I put the blue ones in and it looks great. although I can't read the digi time clock.

I changed the side light to a 501 standard blue tint bulb which came included with a set of two blue tinged H7's that I fitted incase the HID failed the MOT...... got em off ebay for about a fiver all in.

Just done mine and it looks okay, not as good as I expected.

Tinytim, which bulbs did you get? Have you got the link?

I wonder if I got directional by mistake.... clicky-linky

Nice price. I thought mine were cheap at ?1.99 GBP each

I think the blue ones will make the dash too blue - white led's show up a nice easy to read blue.

One of the longest parts about fitting is doing each bulb twice !!- haha
Maybe I was just unlucky - but every led I fitted had to be removed again and rotated 180? in the holder to work. (yes i know they are polarised !)

I ended up fitting blue LED's to the 2 centre holders and plain white to the outer 2 holders, I tried fitting all blue but on the outer 2 the red sections (fuel and redline) became almost black c7u8

They look quite good now with extra brightness but not too bright due to the softer blue hue :dunno:

So who didn't pay attention in art class

mixing blue and red gives purple .. which on the instruments will effectively look black.

I'm told that if you use blue, red & green you get white light

Never did like art as I reckon it's for fags  I did actually think it may be a little dark but it was worth a try :dunno:
